Artist, music lover, mother, unexplored potential. These are some of the words you would use to describe Sudha Venkateswaran. Her passion for the arts began at a very young age. With one hand tuning, (and fixing), the radio, she would sketch anything or person that came in her way.
Sudha is trained under her guru Mrs. Indira Prakash. Initially she joined Indira Prakash as a student, but recognizing her talent and commitment, her guru asked her to join her as an assistant. They worked together for 13 years, where she got an opportunity to learn various kind of paintings like oil, water, fabric, glass, pot, etc. she honed her skills only through practice and pure, unadulterated talent. Sudha also increased her knowledge in this area by learning Thanjore painting from Mrs. Nandhini Ashok.
Today she brings all these skills to Shree Paavitra Arts Academy (SPAA). She is a creative genius lending her expertise to all kinds of fine arts activities, from designing and creating all the props and backdrops for SPAA to her personal work like creating designer envelopes, knitting , crochet and other craft forms.
Her skill with children can be seen through the classes she conducts. Sudha takes art classes for small children and adults, giving them a chance to sharpen their skills while getting some help on their school projects as well!
Sudha has constantly been seeking to delve into the finer aspects of life through SPAA. Some of her work can be seen below.
